Rowan Retrievers - PURCHASING

Taking deposits now for the Summer Litters.

Each Rowan puppy comes with:

*Written 24 month health warranty for genetic defects of eyes or heart, dysplastic hips and elbows.

* First 30 Days of Free Health coverage through Trupanion Insurance.

*Recent well-puppy vet check.

*Shot record with all immunizations and wormings up to date.

*Bio Sensory Training starting from the third day of life. (See the webpage devoted to explaining this program.)

*Early and continuous human interaction, socialization, and introduction to sound, car motion, other pets.

*Dewclaws will be left intact unless removal is requested at birth.

(Dewclaws act much like thumbs. It is this breeder's researched opinion that they serve the dog well for grip work and are better left intact with nails being trimmed when all other nails get groomed.)

*Microchip implanted with simple instructions for the new owner to register online.

*Transition VICTOR Classic High Pro Plus

Large Breed Puppy Food

*Blanket with the scent of the litter.

*Started crate training/housebreaking at 4 weeks.

*Training tips/materials and crate training workshop.

*Ongoing breeder support as needed for the lifetime of the dog.

Purchasing steps:

These rare red puppies are being sold for $4,500

Step 1) Fill out an application. (Feel free to call before taking this step to discuss the current available puppies and the overall breeding line.)

Step 2) Await a call to have a discussion with Tonya at Rowan Retrievers to ensure this litter is the best fit for your family and answer any remaining questions you have.

Step 3) Make a decision and put down a non refundable $1,500 deposit. This deposit can be transfered to another litter if the buyer chooses. It will be fully refunded if Rowan can not provide the gender of preference in a perfectly healthy puppy that meets the required purpose of the dog as a good match at the time the deposit was intended with the Dam and Sire the buyer selected. Copy of deposit contract.

Step 4) Get text and photo description updates on the progress and disposition of the littermates. Pups will be collar color-coded for ease of tracking.

Step 5) When the pups are 6 weeks old, selections for the litter will take place in the order the initial deposits were received.

Step 6) All pups will have a final 7-week vet check up.

Step 7) Pay the final balance of $3,000 during puppy pick-up or delivery when pups are 8 weeks old. Copy of Sales Contract.

Step 8) We are happy to make any needed arrangements for air travel from PDX or LAX (or regional airports) at additional cost to the owner. Crating and shipping puppies within the USA generally costs about $400. The breeder, Tonya, is also available to book an air nanny shipment where the puppy is boarded with her as a carry-on and flown to your nearest airport for personal handoff. Hawaii requires special effort to coordinate due to quarantine stipulations.

Occasionally, a puppy placement from Rowan Retrievers will fail (family crisis, hospitalization, death ect.) and an older puppy or dog will be returned to Rowan. We are also contacted with other Golden Retrievers (not bred by Rowan) needing to be rehomed with the aim to keep them out of a shelter. If you would like to be considered for a golden retriever that needs rehomed, phone or text to be put on the rehoming contact list.
